About Jen
Growing up, I faced significant emotional hardships due to family dynamics that shaped my early years. These experiences taught me valuable lessons about resilience and the complexities of human nature. Over time, I've learned that no person is purely good or bad; we're all imperfect beings. Through moments of forgiveness and gratitude, I've focused on positive memories and traits that brought joy, fostering empathy, compassion, and understanding. Even before discovering mindfulness meditation, I was on a journey of compassion for others, but I needed more time and guidance to learn self-compassion.
As I navigated marriage and motherhood, new challenges arose, including coping with unresolved grief over my dad's death. I struggled with self-expression and self-worth, constantly worrying about hurting others with my words. This anxiety clouded my clarity and personal growth for nearly two decades. However, amidst this turmoil, my journey into mindfulness meditation proved transformative. I learned that happiness doesn't come from external sources; it's dependent on me. Cultivating gratitude during this time also helped me shift my perspective, allowing me to see the positives in my journey and growth. This profound realization prompted a career shift. After 26 years, I left my career to become a mindfulness meditation teacher and a qualified professional coach.
Now, I am dedicated to guiding women through their journeys of self-discovery and fulfillment. My work focuses on helping women navigate changes in their purpose or meaning, fostering self-reflection and growth. A time of rediscovery offers a unique opportunity for self-reflection and growth, whether it’s due to career transitions, children becoming more independent, or simply a desire for personal development. Whatever the catalyst, this time allows for a deeper exploration of self-awareness and fulfillment.
My journey has taught me the importance of authenticity, vulnerability, and self-worth. I am committed to empowering others to explore change and embrace their true potential, providing a supportive space to work through challenges and achieve a fulfilling life.
It breaks my heart to know that there are many women who are feeling stuck, like I did, and feel alone there. These are the women I am reaching out to, you don’t have to feel stuck, there are answers and they are in you, with my coaching I can create a thinking environment (using mindfulness meditation and active listening), and ask you questions from a place of curiosity that will help you to think of your issue in a different way and come up with your own answers that work best for you.
